Our Story: Krahn Furniture

Krahn started in 1986, by Peter Krahn, in a small garage building furniture for friends and family. From the very beginning, the focus was on high-quality, hand-crafted pieces, not mass production.

Over the years, the brand grew from working with Western Red Cedar lumber from Vancouver Island to designing original, recycled poly pieces, including our signature Adirondack and Muskoka chairs. Today, we’re known for our industry-exclusive tri-support system in these chairs, giving unparalleled support and stability.

Our dining and counter-height bistro chairs are celebrated for their perfect support angles — the kind of comfort that makes people say, “OMG, these are comfortable!” And our deep seating collections carry on that legacy: the original designs feature perfect seating height, natural arm-drop armrests, and spread-out cushions for maximum relaxation.
